Goat Quest

Goats have long been missing as a core race from DnD which I am rectifying

This is a basic skeleton for now and I will use for a con game of goat mystery solving adventure hunting cultists and leading farm animal rebellions.

I welcome more suggestions

Standard Goat AC+13 HD 1 ATT butt d6 MOV 12"
Big Buck AC+14 HD 2 ATT butt d8 or two hooves d4 each MOV 12"

goats ignore terrain mods for rough rocky surfaces

BX-ish Goat Class for my GoatQuest adventure
d8 HD progress mostly as a reskinned cleric

Con is prime stat
Goats do d6 damage with horns or two d3 kicks
Base AC as leather

Nannygoats can make milk if they have kids or use goat magic
If they have kids they make a bucket every dawn and dusk but don't always want to share

1st Lv - Goat horns can hit creatures normaly vulnerable to silver or cold iron
2nd Lv Goat can learn animal languages
3rd Lv Goat can speak common as a human and other languages
4th Lv Goat horns inflict d8 +1AC hide may make two d4 hoof attacks instead of butt
5th Lv Goat horns can hit creatures normally requiring +1 magic
6th Lv Goat get d8 butt and extra two d6 hoof attacks

Charge With a 30ft run up a goat can make a single attack
d6 butt becomes 2d4 d8 butt becomes 2d6

Evil goats have different spells like peeing acid
possibly need goat skills

  1. I think goats would have at least a bonus to save vs poison. As they eat all kinds of stuff.
Rove, and Bilberry goats both have large horns, maybe 1d8 instead of 1d6 for damage.

    1. Rove, and Bilberry goats just higher level
CON as prime stat will help but possibly a spell to eat anything would be good

  2. Nice! I want these!

I am missing a spell like 'Sweater to Snakes' or something to change clothing into a writhing mass of attacking strands
